Synopsis

In 1994, the municipality of Seoul buried a time capsule to be opened 500 years later, marking the city's 1,000th anniversary. Along with various objects reflecting everyday life in the 1990s, the capsule contained items donated by the citizens of Seoul, each imbued with personal memories.
In the summer of 1994, a couple is living together in Imun-dong, Seoul. When the woman suddenly announces their breakup, the man says he will place their rings in the city's time capsule to make their love eternal. The man cannot believe that she is leaving him, and the woman does not believe what he says. Then, in 2024, a man and a woman with strikingly similar faces encounter each other at the Time Capsule Park.
