Director's biography

Bulgarian cinematographer and Warsaw Film School graduate Teodor Stoilov draws from his roots in street art and skateboarding to capture raw, human moments. His work on Germ earned him Best Cinematography at the Balkan Student Cinefest and screened at both the Sofia and Chania Film Festivals.

Finnish director and Warsaw Film School graduate Nellie Rajala focuses on intimate, character-led stories often seen through the eyes of children. Her film Elf Ring took home the National Prize at the Oulu International Children and Youth Film Festival and Best European Short at Fabriano Film Fest, with further prizes at the Rural and Joutseno Film Festivals.

The pair’s previous short, Invisible Sister, won Best Student Film at the Drim Short Film Festival and was selected for the Minimalen Film Festival and Lübeck Nordic Film Days.
