Synopsis

The pages of a sketchbook come to life, capturing the atmosphere of a total solar eclipse. Human anticipation, animal confusion, and the strange behavior of nature converge into a single moment as the world falls silent.

Director's biography

I am a 24-year-old animation director, primarily working in the world of 2D hand-drawn animation. In my work, traditional techniques meet an experimental mindset. I am especially drawn to films that not only tell stories, but also create atmosphere and evoke emotions.

I have a strong passion for abstract and lyrical forms of expression, the delicate balance where images no longer merely illustrate, but become thoughts of their own. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of narrative and building visual worlds that are at once mysterious, poetic, and deeply personal.

My goal is to create animated films that not only capture the viewer’s attention, but stay with them long after, like the memory of a strange dream.
